PREFACE

 

This orb anthology spans more than 2 decades and chronicles my experiences as they have appeared.

My intention is to finally showcase them for their uniqueness, their mystery and diversity.

WHAT ARE ORBS?

I do not claim to know what Orbs are, where they come from or why they appear. Some suggest they are forms of consciousness such as elementals, spirits, angels, luminous beings, extra-terrestrials, inter-dimensionals, biological craft, etc., from realms beyond this perceived physical reality.  Others claim they are dust particles, bugs, water droplets, light refractions, etc. It is not my interest to debate what Orbs are, however what I find curious is they seem to commonly appear for me.

​2000 to 2007 - Film Camera Developed Photos

In the mid 2000's I reviewed my film photos from early 2000's and realized my photos had images on them I hadn't seen before?  They were always there, however I hadn't attuned to them yet and therefore wasn't able to see them. Once seen, I then scoured all of my developed photos and was astounded to see many of the photos had orbs in them.  ​

 2008 to Present - Digital Camera

This camera was and still is my cornerstone camera for capturing orbs.

I recommend people dig out their old digital cameras as they tend to pick up orbs better than phone cameras.  

​

VIEWING ORBS

There are a number of factors I found have that promote a higher chance of picking them up:

 

Outside 

I have found the most ideal time for the camera is what I've coined as the "Orb Hour". This is at dusk just at the moment when the flash is triggered to go on. This time period lasts for approximately 30-45 minutes when the there is enough environmental light + flash to capture the orbs. Later in the evening if there is enough artificial light + flash, they can also be picked up.

Inside - Still Images

With my digital camera (above) they have been picked up in room light and most ideally dim light + flash.

Inside - Motion 

This infra-red motion detection camera was used in complete darkness.

ORB APPEARANCES

What has fascinated me over the years is they have shown up on my cameras in many diverse ways and even in my dreams.

​​​​​​​​​​Form

They have appeared in many shapes from triangular, hexagonal, circular, to sparks of light including the full colour spectrum.  Many have visible patterns and layers within them including

Relationship

I have often been asked how it is that I'm able to capture so many orbs?

Although I can't be certain, I intuitively feel my intention, enthusiasm and excitement all contribute to them appearing.  

​

I have also witnessed them being attracted to groups of people who are excited, happy and are generating a lot of energy.  

​

I have also experienced them appearing at moments of great significance, when their presence are foreshadowing a future time.  

​

Element of Surprise! 

As well, overtime I have become aware that if I take continuous pictures in the same direction and of the same place, they disappear.  I will often quickly move the camera to a new position with intention of surprising them.

 

Editing 

As most of the photos are taken at night without a flash, they have been been auto enhanced to add more light, depth and clarity to be viewed. ​There are no AI generated images within this anthology.  

​

IMAGES

Over the years people have sent me photos with orb images in them as point of interest and conversation. Some of them are included within this anthology and indicated as such.
